Deaerator heads are widely used for removing oxygen from feed water tanks. Oxygen in the feed water tank can lead to corrosion in the entire system, causing leakages in line and reducing the life of the plant.

Deaerator head is a simple equipment which mixes makeup water, condensate return water and flash steam.  Once the water and steam is mixed, the temperature of the end system increases above 90 % and ensures oxygen is vented out through a vent valve of the Deaerator head. It is a simple and robust system, ensuring oxygen removal and thereby ensuring corrosion of the pipeline and the overall system.
